A Magickal Life

I am very pleased to present the “A Magickal Life” interview with my fellow author, Jamie Della. Although I have known Jamie as an acquaintance for many years, it wasn’t until she invited me up to her place in the woods near Willits to visit and prepare for the podcast that we really and truly dropped in. But then, the connection was instantaneous and phenomenally full of amazing parallels. 

Jamie has an extensive author career, writing about Wicca, her cultural heritage, and she even created a fiction novel too. With ten published books to her name, Jamie is someone who I admire for making a writer’s life, offering her word weaving up again and again.

I felt truly inspired by Jamie’s joy, her passion for her craft, and the way she bridges two of my favorite worlds: writing and witching. And, I personally believe that writing is very much like witchcraft: in both worlds, we are conjuring up images and captivating one’s focused attention with the power of our words. 

I never know exactly what is going to be said during a podcast. But, I was riveted by our discussion of the ways that we can bring all of our faculties into our writing and our magick making, infusing a sensuousness to our crafts.

Because that is the yum my friends. That is the yum spell that I want to be living. And that is the yum spell that I am intending to make manifest with “The Positive Fantastic.” I do so hope that you’ll enjoy this delightful episode about how Jamie has created her magickal life. It’s super yummy.
