“Music is the Medicine”
To begin my podcasting journey, I invited singer/songwriter Copperwoman to join me for my pilot episode of The Positive Fantastic: “Music is the Medicine.”
It seemed perfectly fitting that I should interview Copperwoman to get this good news party started! Copperwoman has been something of a musical mentor to me, helping me to find my voice and let my songs come through.
Together we dove into a dialogue about the ways that we can bring music into our lives, open the portal to creativity, and express ourselves for healing.
This episode is beginning the first season of “The Positive Fantastic” podcast. Every new and full moon, I will be publishing episodes for your enjoyment. The main arc of the podcast is to bring stories about humans thriving to the fore.
I believe that we all need more good news to lift each other up. I know that there are amazing people doing amazing things. My job, as a creative interviewer, is to highlight these fabulous folks and give them the opportunity to share about how they are part of the solution.
Our collective desire to grow, heal, and persevere can be explored from many routes. Each episode of the podcast will attempt to explore a route to right livelihood, by letting the featured interviewee share their story.
We are all here together to live as best as we can. This podcast wants to support everyone living their best lives by sharing ways that some folks have channelled their creative capacities into their life’s work.
Copperwoman, who has a song for every occasion, sang “All I Can Do” as the first video corresponding to The Positive Fantastic on my author YouTube channel (below).
I hope you’ll listen to her beautiful creation and then tune into our co-creation on your favorite podcast listening platform. You can also click here to listen to the first episode. And if you want to check out more music and offerings by Copper, you can visit her website.
Copper has also graciously agreed to let her songs be featured on the podcast! Yay! So, listen in at the beginning of each episode, and you’ll get to hear more of Copper’s singer-songwriter repertoire!
